Float!
Floating the river is the off-site activity of choice of just about every Twelve K Ranch guest. And, it doesn’t have to cost anything other than tube rental (or you can bring your own). River access is free and only :15 mins from the property if you go to the San Marcos City Park – parking is free & Lions Club Tube Rental is on-site and super affordable. Other popular floating spots: Don’s Fish Camp & Texas State Tubes.
Night Time Kayaking
For kids 7+ (with accompanying adult), check out Paddle SMTX where you use translucent kayaks equipped with underwater colored LED lights to illuminate your river trip. The first part of the experience is guided and then you’ll get to kayak on your own. Daytime tours are also available.
